Keeping your CONUS or OCONUS move organized is easier than you might think, especially if you use a PCS binder. If you're new to the military lifestyle, a PCS binder is simply a binder that holds all your important documents and paperwork. It can be customized specifically for the needs of you and you family, and as a bonus, there's absolutely no right or wrong way to create one!

15 basic items that we suggest having in your binder include:

1. Passports

2. Personal documents

3. Medical documents

4. Insurance documents

5. Marriage license

6. Pet health records

7. Car documents (such as the title)

8. Children's school records

  1. 9. Important contacts

10. Copies of orders (we recommend having multiple copies)

11. Housing information

12. Travel reservations/information

13. Birth certificates

14. Social security cards

15. Moving company information

Again, however, you can customize it exactly to your family's needs!

As a team of military spouses and veterans, we have printable PCS binder documents that you can save and use for your own PCS move!
